Awards for Winter’s Bone Reaching New Heights

The Awards for Winter’s Bone are reaching new heights as the indie documentary receives Oscar Nod.

The stark drama has already garnered two Sundance film festival awards best drama film by the Sundance jury of industry professionals and screenwriting for co-writer and director Debra Granik. Winter’s Bone also won best feature film and best ensemble performance award at the Gotham awards which showcases independent films. The momentum seems unstoppable as it has been announced that Winter’s Bone has been nominated for four Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Actress in a Leading Role Jennifer Lawrence, Best Actor in a Supporting Role John Hawkes and Best Adapted Screenplay Debra Granik & Anne Rosellini.
